Youth center in Aritay semi-urban center inaugurates

A new youth training and recreation center jointly constructed by the government, the NUEYS as well as the defense force members was inaugurated at the Aritay semi-urban center, Habero sub- zone.

Keren, 27 November 2011- A new youth training and recreation center jointly constructed by the government, the NUEYS as well as the defense force members was inaugurated at the Aritay semi-urban center, Habero sub- zone.

The building constructed at a cost of 1.7 million Nakfa incorporates two offices, one meeting hall, a store, one big recreation center as well as the premises, and is expected to play a leading role in nurturing the youth.

Mr. Hussein Mohammed Nur acting administrator of the Habero sub-zone extended his gratitude to all who participated in the finalization of the project and reminded the youths of Habero to make good use of this opportunity.

Head of the NUEYS of the area, Suleiman Mohammed on his part noted that the input of the inhabitants and the defense force members in the area was remarkable in the construction of the center. He added that the establishment of the center is a foundation for the youth of the area to exchange experiences.
