Dairy farmers in Nacfa sub-zone have managed to ensure the supply of milk in their surroundings after having made headway in the breeding of dairy cattle, reports indicated.
Nacfa, 28 November 2011 – Dairy farmers in Nacfa sub-zone have managed to ensure the supply of milk in their surroundings after having made headway in the breeding of dairy cattle, reports indicated.
They told Erina that the availability of animal feed, and veterinary service are playing vital role in boosting milk production in their locality.
Mr. Goitom Fishatsion, expert in animal breeding in the sub-zone, stated that there exist more than 450 dairy cattle in the sub-zone, and that 3,000 liter of milk are supplied to the market daily.
