Debarwa, 29 November 2011- Beneficiaries of smokeless oven reminded have been called upon to increasing applying it Debarwa sub-zone, as it has been playing vital role in reducing consumption of energy and wood, besides ensuring the health of families.

During an inspection tour conducted to visit 725 smokeless ovens in Qaqbda, Adebzage, Geza-Lamza, Debarewa sub-zone, briefings were given to farmers, agriculture experts, Administrators of various areas.

Ms. Almaz Amanuel, social development expert in the Agricultural Ministry’s branch office in the region, said that the smokeless oven reduces consumption of wood by 75%.
