Assab, 29 November 2011- During an inspection tour he conducted in South Denkalia, Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Administrator of Southern Red Sea region, said that integrated popular efforts is vital for the success of national development programs.
In the course of his visit to water project put in place in Debaysi Administrative area, he indicated that the project would play vital role in the regrouping villages, and improving the living standard of the inhabitants.
The Administrator of Debaysi Administrative area, Mr. Ali Mohammed, said on his part that the water project will solve the prevailing shortage of potable water supply in the area, in addition to making due contribution to the regrouping of villages in the area.
Mr. Abdalla Abdu, from the local inhabitants indicated that the inhabitants have participated in the project by digging 7 km deep hole and installing pipelines.
Ms. Fato Ibrahim appreciated efforts of the government in solving the problems of the inhabitants, and said that the water project would play significant role in alleviating the problem women face in the area.
Debaysi is one of the 10 Administrative areas in South Denkalia region, and is located 57 Km-south of Assab town.
