NUEW branch in Southern Red Sea region offers training

The branch of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) in the Southern Red Sea region has organized training courses aimed at reinforcing the activities of the Union.

Assab, 2 December 2011 – The branch of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) in the Southern Red Sea region has organized training courses aimed at reinforcing the activities of the Union.

The training given to group leaders focused on strengthening organizational capacity, administration, malaria prevention and environmental sanitation, as well as ensuring mother and child health.

The head of NUEW branch in the region, Ms. Weini Negash, said that upgrading the capacity of group leaders through training is of vital significance as regards the accomplishment of the Union.

The regional Administrator, Mr. Ali Mahmoud, indicated the impressive contribution of Eritrean women in the nation-building process.

The participants of the training stressed the need to continue organizing similar training so as to enhance the awareness of members of the NUEW.
