Dr. Le’ul Banteyirga, head of the health ministry’s branch office in the region, said that the Government has given top priority to ensure child health care, and that programs like vaccination for children are making due contribution in reducing mortality rate. He further called on nationals in general and mothers in particular to heed the advice given by health professionals.
The Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Mussa Raba’a, pointed out that child care programs are playing vital role in reducing death, and called on the inhabitants to make due contribution for the success of such programs.
