Adi-Quala sub-zone: Student enrollment on the rise

Student enrollment in Adi-Quala sub-zone is on the rise, stated Mr. Gebregziabher Tewolde, head of the Education Ministry’s branch office in the sub-zone. Adi-Quala, 5 December 2011 – Student enrollment in Adi-Quala sub-zone is on the rise, stated Mr. Gebregziabher Tewolde, head of the Education Ministry’s branch office in the sub-zone.

He also indicated that participation of students especially females, is growing faster in comparison with the past five years thanks to the expansion of schools.

The Administrator of Adi-Quala, Mr. Sium Gebreyesus, pointed out that students from outlying places used to withdraw due to remoteness of schools. At present, however, a number of schools have opened in their localities, he added.

There  exist 40 schools ranging from kindergarten to secondary level in Adi-Quala sub-zone.
