Endeavors to ensure public health in Hamelmalo sub-zone bear fruitful outcome

Endeavors to ensure public health in Hamelmalo sub-zone, are  bearing fruitful outcome, according to Mr. Elias Gebrewoldi, Nurse midwife in the health station in the sub-zone. Hamelmalo, 5 December 2011 – Endeavors to ensure public health in Hamelmalo sub-zone, are  bearing fruitful outcome, according to Mr. Elias Gebrewoldi, Nurse midwife in the health station in the sub-zone.

He said that the three health stations are making significant contribution in preventing communicable and non-communicable diseases. Mr. Elias further  explained that diseases mostly witnessed in children under 5 have dropped, and that the number of expectant mothers resorting to medical treatment is on the rise as a result of continous lectures by village representatives.
