Development programs in Ginda sub-zone register commendable progress

The implementation of various development programs in Ginda sub-zone 2011 has registered commendable progress, stated Ms. Amna Haji Osman, the Administrator.  Ginda, 7 December 2011 – The implementation of various development programs in Ginda sub-zone 2011 has registered commendable progress, stated Ms. Amna Haji Osman, the Administrator. 

In a report she presented at an assessment meeting, she indicated that the construction of an elementary school in Ginda town and the installation of electric poles have been completed. The construction of modern public toilets, distribution of water   pipelines in Gahtelai and water reservoir in Filfil-Solomuna is underway, Ms. Amna added.

Moreover, the Administrator indicated that the number of female enrollment in schools is on the rise, and called on Area administrators, village elders and religious leaders to combat underage marriage.

Mr. Hamed Haji, PFDJ Secretary in the Northern Red Sea region, gave briefings regarding the development drive in the country, and explained that reliable ground has been laid towards achieving food security.
