Keren, 7 December 2011 – The health station in Himbol-Kechecha is playing significant role in upgrading public awareness regarding health in general and ensuring mother and child health in particular.
The inhabitants said that the health station which began rendering service in 2007 is making due contribution in pre-and post-delivery treatment, child care and vaccination program. They also commended the role of village health representatives and health personnel in combating malaria.
Himbol-Kechecha Administrative area inhabited by about 3,000 people is located 140 Km. west of Keren town.
