Keren, 7 December 2011 – The residents of Keren town said that the latest sanctions resolution against Eritrea at the behest of the United States is but a sign of Washington’s hopelessness and bankruptcy.

They told Erina that it is to be recalled that the US Administration spearheaded the illegal and unjust sanctions resolution against Eritrea in 2009 that was not only met with staunch rebuff of the Eritrean people inside the country and abroad but also conveyed strong message to the international community.

The residents further emphasized that such hostile act would not derail the Eritrean people from the development endeavors and national rebuff. They also pointed out that they would not succumb to such repeated acts of enemy hostility.
