The Marble and Granite Firm in Gogne is making vigorous efforts to raise production and meet the market demand, according to the Head of Administration of the Firm, Mr. Mehari Abraha.
Barentu, 8 December 2011- The Marble and Granite Firm in Gogne is making vigorous efforts to raise production and meet the market demand, according to the Head of Administration of the Firm, Mr. Mehari Abraha.
He explained that the demand for the products of the company is on the raise, especially with the start of operations by Gedem Cement Factory, and that the firm is doing its level best to meet the demand.
The firm produces around 130 meters of gray marble and 200 to 250 cubic meters of other products. He also indicated that the need for investment to harness such reserve resources of the country.
As regards skilled man power in the firm, Mr. Mehari said that the employees have good knowledge of the machineries, and that a number of training programs are organized for them.
Mr. Mehari further pointed that a number of mining activities have been underway in Geleb, Anseba region, Elaba, Southern region.
