Eritreans in the Diaspora once again reaffirm steadfastness and heighted rebuff

Noting that the latest US instigated illegal and unjust sanctions resolution against Eritrea is part and parcel of the continued acts of hostility dating back to the 1950s, Eritreans in different parts of the world once again reaffirmed steadfastness and heighted rebuff.

Asmara, 10 December 2011- Noting that the latest US instigated illegal and unjust sanctions resolution against Eritrea is part and parcel of the continued acts of hostility dating back to the 1950s, Eritreans in different parts of the world once again reaffirmed steadfastness and heighted rebuff.

The nationals from Australia, USA, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and others said that sanction would only have really damaging impact on subservient quarters and not on the Eritrean people who strive for progress on the basis of self-reliance. They further asserted that they would as ever exert unremitting endeavors for the success of the development drive in the Homeland.

In a telephone interview, Ms. Asha Musa Haj from Australian city of Melbourne said that one cannot expect a heroic and resilient people as the Eritreans to succumb to enemy ploys.

Likewise, Mr. Abduselam Mohammed-Berhane from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, stated that a courageous people who frustrated enemy conspiracies in the past would once again repeat their staunch rebuff to other enemy machinations. In this connection, he emphasized that the Eritrean people would mount united rebuff against the sanctions resolution.
