30 health staff from different health institutions in the Central region have attended training courses regarding prevention of communicable diseases and remedial steps. Asmara, 12 December 2011- 30 health staff from different health institutions in the Central region have attended training courses regarding prevention of communicable diseases and remedial steps.
The head of health information system and epidemic control unit in the Health Ministry’s branch office, Nurse Fisehaye Negash, explained that the training was focused on applying precautionary methods and ways of curing disease. He added that 120 staff members of the Ministry received similar trainings.
The trainees expressed readiness to step up efforts in on-going endeavors to reduce the spread of communicable diseases.
