Around 90% of the inhabitants of Hamelmalo sub-zone have benefited from service-rendering institutions, according to the head of service-rendering institutions in the sub-zone, Mr. Kibrom Fisehaye. Keren, 13 December 2011- Around 90% of the inhabitants of Hamelmalo sub-zone have benefited from service-rendering institutions, according to the head of service-rendering institutions in the sub-zone, Mr. Kibrom Fisehaye.
He explained that in continuation of efforts to enhance service-rendering institutions in the region, 17 schools ranking, one health center and 2 health stations are now providing service in the sub-zone.
He further indicated that pipelines have been installed to 8 Administrative areas, as well as 24-hour electricity and mobile telephone service made available in the sub-zone.
Mr. Yassin Osman Hasrin and Mr. Yassin Idris Adem, both inhabitants of the region, expressed satisfaction with such services.
Hamelmalo sub-zone is located 15 km north of Keren with a population of about 30 thousand.
