Farm land allotted to 400 nationals in Adobha sub-zone

Farmland has been allotted to 400 nationals in Adobha sub-zone, according to Mr. Idris Ali Mohammed, in charge of economic development affairs in the sub-zone. Adobha, 14 December 2011 – Farmland has been allotted to 400 nationals in Adobha sub-zone, according to Mr. Idris Ali Mohammed, in charge of economic development affairs in the sub-zone.

He said that the local inhabitants are currently engaged in soil and water conservation activities, construction of terraces and embankments, in addition to renovating the Nacfa-Adobha road and that of Adobha-Ararib.

Mr. Idris further indicated that animal vaccination program has been undertaken, and that efforts are underway to expand rangelands. Nationals in the administrative areas of Dirit, Ela-bab, Qedhat and Ararib have managed to lead settled pattern of living following the regrouping of settlements, he added.
