Tsorona semi-urban center registers rapid growth

Tsorona, one of the 11 semi-urban centers in the of Southern region, is registering rapid growth as a result of the putting in place of a number of service rendering institutions and infrastructure facilities, stated Mr. Rezene Fisehaye, the Administrator.

Tsorona, 14 December 2011 – Tsorona, one of the 11 semi-urban centers in the of Southern region, is registering rapid growth as a result of the putting in place of a number of service rendering institutions and infrastructure facilities, stated Mr. Rezene Fisehaye, the Administrator.

He explained that the semi-urban center inhabited by 10 thousand people has access to potable water supply, regular transport service, health, education, power supply and telephone service that made it inviting for investors.

The inhabitants of Tsorona equally indicated that the construction of residential houses would make due contribution in alleviating shortage in that respect and stressed the need for construction of a livestock market.

Tsorona semi-urban center, which is located some 40 Km. south-west of Dekemhare town, has about 100 business-oriented ventures.
