Himbol health center providing satisfactory service

As part of expanding service-rendering institutions in the country, the health center in Derit, Adobha sub-zone, is rendering satisfactory service, according to the local inhabitants. Nacfa, 15 December 2011-  As part of expanding service-rendering institutions in the country, the health center in Derit, Adobha sub-zone, is rendering satisfactory service, according to the local inhabitants.

Mr. Osman Humed, one of the inhabitants indicated that previously there existed no health service in the area, and the inhabitants used to face a lot of inconvenience especially mothers during maternity. At present, however, they have overcome such problems.

The head of the health center, Mr. Semere Ogbay, indicated that there are also health stations in Elababu, Qedehat and Arareb, and are providing child health care, pre and post-maternity care, and vaccination service, among others.

He further explained that a number of campaigns are underway to promote environmental cleanliness, and appreciated the efforts exerted by the inhabitants to this end.
