Progress registered in Keren town reflects march towards national development:Town Inhabitants

The residents of Afabet and Nacfa towns disclosed that the progress registered in various aspects reflects the march towards national development and bright future.

Keren, 15 December 2011- The residents of Afabet and Nacfa towns disclosed that the progress registered in various aspects reflects the march towards national development and bright future.

In the course of a tour they conducted in Keren town, they visited AZEL Pharmaceutical Company and Keren Wood and Metal Works, among others. The town residents further asserted: “our independent path is vanguard for our development progress”.

Mr. Al-Haj Mohammed Ahmed, one of the local inhabitants said that nationals are proud of the economic development registered on the basis of internal, and indicated that nothing can hinder the economic development underway through the nation’s policy of self-reliance.

Ms. Jimi’a Osman Mohammed on her part said that efforts made by the Government for ensuring social justice has registered satisfactory outcome.

During the tour, the Administrator of Keren, Mr. Tekie Keleta, gave briefings on infrastructure facilities being put in place in the town, as well as other service-rendering institutions, and the efforts made to enhance tourism and preserving historical and cultural relics in the town.

The residents of the aforementioned towns also visited Agriculture College of Hamelmalo during which they received briefings from agricultural experts of the college.
