He indicated that Manqa Lime manufacturing firm was intially established with government loan, but now it has paid all the debt and is rendering service to the inhabitants.

Mr. Tsegai Tewolde, technician of the firm said that the availability of furnace, fuel and other materials in the vicinity enables beneficiaries of the firm not to destroy trees. In addition, Manqa Lime manufacturing firm has opened job opportunities to the inhabitants of the area.

Manqa Lime manufacturing firm is located 5 Km east of Qerse-qemte and has around 26 employees, and produces around 120 quintals of lime daily.
