Satisfactory agricultural production harvested in Mai-Aini sub-zone

Satisfactory agricultural production has been harvested from crops planted over 10,420 hectares in different administrative areas of Mai-Aini sub-zone, according to Mr. Zebib Kahsai, head of the branch office of the Agricultural Ministry in the sub-zone.
Mai-Aini, 16 December 2011 – Satisfactory agricultural production has been harvested from crops planted over 10,420 hectares in different administrative areas of Mai-Aini sub-zone, according to Mr. Zebib Kahsai, head of the branch office of the Agricultural Ministry in the sub-zone.

He explained that the sub-zone is endowed with surface and underground water resources and has more than 45,000 rangelands.

Moreover, Mr. Zebib said that fruits and vegetables farmers have managed to supply the market with 56,000 quintals of fruits and over 20,000 quintals of vegetables over the past 11 months through cultivating 900 hectares.
