Northern Red Sea region: Efforts to promote social security register encouraging outcome

At an annual assessment meeting held in Massawa on December13, it was disclosed that efforts by the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch office in the Northern Red Sea region to promote social security are registering encouraging outcome. Massawa, 17 December 2011-  At an annual assessment meeting held in Massawa on December13, it was disclosed that efforts by the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch office in the Northern Red Sea region to promote social security are registering encouraging outcome.

Reports indicated that around 15 million Nakfa has been disbursed in by Eritrean nationals residing abroad. Besides, about 500,000 Nakfa raised to support families of martyrs. 

Likewise, around 15 million Nakfa has been extended towards improving the livelihood of war-disabled veterans in loan free from interest, among others.
