He explained that students pursuing education at secondary level used to travel to Asmat Boarding School, and with the distance, lack of awareness and other reasons, students were experiencing dropout. However, with the newly constructed secondary school in their vicinity such problems would be overcome.
Fatma Osman, one of the students, said that she was unable to pursue her education away from her parents but now she is in a position to complete her high school education.
The director of the school, Mr. Musa Saleh said on his part that the growing number of dropouts has been an acute problem, and called on parents to send their children to school and make them in order to benefit from the prevailing new opportunities.
There exist about 5 Kindergartens in the area, and that the number of students has increased to 535 this year, and education centers increased from 11 to 14.
