Fruits and vegetables farmers in Emahmime semi-urban center are striving to meet local market demand. Emahmime, 21 December 2011 – Fruits and vegetables farmers in Emahmime semi-urban center are striving to meet local market demand.

They also stated said that the Government has extended water motors and professional advices as part of endeavors to ensure food security.

The Chairperson of the fruits and vegetables farmers association, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, said that the Association has managed to stabilize market demand through supplying products at fair price.  It has also begun distribution to other parts of the country, he added.
