Lecture regarding enhancement of women’s participation organized in Massawa

A lecture was given in Massawa town regarding the enhancement of women’s awareness and participation in all economic sectors.

Massawa, 23 December 2011 – A lecture was given in Massawa town regarding the enhancement of women’s awareness and participation in all economic sectors.

The lecture in which women from the sub-zones of She’ib, Foro, Ginda and Massawa took part dealt with health reproduction, malaria prevention, environmental sanitation, mother and child health, combating traditional harmful practices and the like.

The director general of social service in the Northern Red Sea region, Mr. Tesfai Tekle, highlighted the vital significance of active popular participation in the nation-building process.
