Ministry extends support to martyrs’ families and needy citizens

The branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in Anseba region has extended 36 million Nakfa in benefit scheme to martyrs’ as well as in support of disabled nationals and needy students. Keren, 23 December 2011 – The branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in Anseba region has extended 36 million Nakfa in benefit scheme to martyrs’ as well as in support of disabled nationals and needy students.

Reports also indicated that the Ministry has paid 33 million Nakfa in benefit scheme of martyrs families, in addition to rehabilitated 75 foster families through livestock  and other types at an expenditure of about 2 million Nakfa. Moreover, skill-upgrading training was given to 27 disadvantaged children.

Meanwhile, the head of social service in the region, Ms. Zeineb Omar, called on the general public to redouble contribution towards ensuring social justice.
