National Youth Conference to be conducted in Nacfa

Over 650 Eritrean youth, including a large contingent of youth living abroad are going to participate in a national Youth Conference that would began on Sunday in Nacfa. The six-day Conference would be conducted under the theme, “Empowering the Youth to Build a Strong Eritrea in A Changing World.” Nacfa, 23 December 2011 – Over 650 Eritrean youth, including a large contingent of youth living abroad are going to participate in a national Youth Conference that would began on Sunday in Nacfa. The six-day Conference would be conducted under the theme, “Empowering the Youth to Build a Strong Eritrea in A Changing World.”

The Youth will scan the national situation as well as regional and international developments. They will discuss the overriding priorities of nation building in Eritrea. They will also deliberate on the challenges that they face as youth and how to overcome them and articulate the character, mission and tasks of the Eritrean youth movement. The Conference is expected to adopt an action plan that strengthens the role and participation of Eritrean youth in the country’s development.

Conference participants will come from all corners and institutions in the country as well as from dozens of countries in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America, Asia and Australia.
