Role of handicraft in familiarizing nation’s tourism resources stressed

Handicraft play significant role in familiarizing the country’s tourism resources, attracting tourists, stated nationals engaged in handicraft work.

Asmara, 28 December 2011 –Handicraft play significant role in familiarizing the country’s tourism resources, attracting tourists, stated nationals engaged in handicraft work.

They noted that the handicraft used in house decorating could also make due contribution in familiarizing the national cultural identity.

The nationals further explained that works of ceramics by women in Dekemhare, Kohaito and Keren are decorated with different paintings, sea beads and others ahead of being supplied to the market.

Ms. Elas Mihre, who came from Holland to spend her vacation in the Homeland, expressed deep impression with the works of handicraft.
