Efforts are being made to enhance the scope and quality of educational. This was disclosed at a meeting school directors, supervisors and heads of offices in the Ministry’s branch office in the Central region.

Asmara, 31 December 2011-  Efforts are being made to enhance the scope and quality of educational. This was disclosed at a meeting school directors, supervisors and heads of offices in the Ministry’s branch office in the Central region.

Speaking at the meeting, the Minister of Education, Mr. Semere Russom, indicated that the administration and facilities of schools need to be enhanced in order to strengthen the control and supervision of schools and education services provided. He further explained that the participation of all nationals is of vital significance for secure and efficient educational service.

He also pointed out that although satisfactory outcome has been registered in the academic aspects, still vigorous efforts are needed to ensure that the outcome registered so far gains momentum. The head of the Ministry’s branch office in the Central region, Mr. Girmai Tedros said on his part that vigorous efforts are of decisive importance towards achieving secure and efficient educational service. He further urged parents to enhance their role in nurturing disciplined and competent students.
