National Youth Conference in Nacfa concludes

The National Youth Conference held in Nacfa town  under the theme “  Building a Developed and Secured Eritrea  Calls for Conscious and Dynamic Youth in a World undergoing Transformation” has concluded. Nacfa, 31 December 2011 –  The National Youth Conference held in Nacfa town  under the theme “  Building a Developed and Secured Eritrea  Calls for Conscious and Dynamic Youth in a World undergoing Transformation” has concluded.

Speaking at the closing session, the Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, Mr. Yemane Gebereab, lauded the active participation of the participants of the Conference, and underlined that it is the duty of all nationals to participate in such conferences so as to enhance the contribution of youth in development programs.

During the five day conference, cultural identity, building efficient political and democratic programs in the nation-building process and reinforcing economic progress, among others were discussed in depth.
Over 650 Eritrean nationals from inside the country and abroad took part in the conference. They also visited the trenches in Nacfa during which they received briefings on the history of the armed struggle for liberation, in addition to planting tree seedlings at the martyrs cemetery and school in the area.
