Two sisters donated around 64 grams of gold jewelry for the renovation of trenches in Nacfa.

Massawa, 31 December 2011- Two sisters donated around 64 grams of gold jewelry for the renovation of trenches in Nacfa.

The sisters, Ms. Leul Zeru and Ms. Roma Zeru handed the donation on December 28 to the Administration of the Northern Red Sea region, and said that they made the donation in line with their promise in last year’s Martyrs’ Day Commemoration in Nacfa town. They further stated that the trenches in Nacfa need to be preserved as national relics.

The director of Administration in the Northern Red Sea region, Mr. Mahteme Askelawi lauded the initiatives of the sisters, and said that the donation being made during the current resolute rebuff conveys a powerful message.
