A total of 400 students graduated from SMAP Institute of Training, Education and Consultancy yesterday in diploma and certificate in the fields of Secretarial Science, Management, Information Technology. Asmara, January 1 2012 – A total of 400 students graduated from SMAP Institute of Training, Education and Consultancy yesterday in diploma and certificate in the fields of Secretarial Science, Management, Information Technology.
Director of the Institute, Dr. Tesfai Haile, commended the substantial investment the Government in developing private institutions of learning, and the institute is making its level best in nurturing educated and skilled nationals. He further pointed out that SMAP is planning in introducing distance learning in the coming year.
The director general of human resource development in the Education Ministry, Mr. Petros Hailemariam, congratulates the graduates and indicated that the Government is giving top priority to the task of building manpower capacity. Mr. Petros assured that vigorous efforts are made in enhancing institutions that contribute to develop the skilled man power.
Representatives of the students on their part said that the courses offered by the institute are both theory and practical, and play vital role in their future career.
SMAP Institute of Training, Education and Consultancy has so far graduated a total of 479 students in diploma and 552 in certificate.
