Mehari Tsegai, reminded the public that societal participation is vital in crime prevention and reducing accidents.
He further explained that the cultural values of the society play great role in preventing crime, and that the majority of the crimes committed in 2011 were apprehended with the collaboration of the public.
The participants on their part pledged to back up endeavors to prevent crime, and called on for quick announcement regarding the verdict of individuals who commit crime.
