Expansion of power supply underway in 5 villages of Berikh sub-zone

Expansion of power supply is underway in Adi-Bidel, Adi-Habtesilus, Shimibluk, Adi-Shimagle and Midrizien, Berikh sub-zone, stated Mr. Emhatsion Girmai, Acting administrator of the sub-zone.

Berik, 6 January 2012 – Expansion of power supply is underway in Adi-Bidel, Adi-Habtesilus, Shimibluk, Adi-Shimagle and Midrizien, Berikh sub-zone, stated Mr. Emhatsion Girmai, Acting administrator of the sub-zone.

Explaining that the local inhabitants have managed to improve their living standard thanks to the putting in place of various service-rendering institutions including education, potable water supply and health, he indicated that the distribution of electricity is part of the on-going endeavors to expand social services.

The inhabitants expressed satisfaction with the provision of a number of service-rendering institutions, and called on for the construction of dams.
