Inhabitants of Shambuko sub-zone called upon to regroup so as to obtain social service

During a meeting conducted in Shambuko sub-zone the importance of regrouping inhabitants in scattered valleys and hills was emphasized in order to benefit from available services. Shambuko, 6 January 2012 – During a meeting conducted in Shambuko sub-zone the importance of regrouping inhabitants in scattered valleys and hills was emphasized in order to benefit from available services.

The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Abubeker Mohammed, called on the inhabitants in scattered villages to regroup so as to obtain social services.

Reports indicated that there exist 24 schools and health institutions, as well as 27 potable water supply stations in the sub-zone. Besides, soil and water conservation activities have been carried out in over 700 hectares, while more than 972 families have been rehabilitated in the form of livestock.
