Athlete Nazret awarded gold medal at 58th cross country competition in Spain

Eritrean Athlete Nazret Woldu was awarded gold medal standing first at the 58th cross country running competition in Amorebeita, Spain, yesterday.

Asmara, 9 January 2012 – Eritrean Athlete Nazret Woldu was awarded gold medal standing first at the 58th cross country running competition in Amorebeita, Spain, yesterday.

In the women’s competition covering 6.7 Kilometers, Athlete Nazret stood first after finishing the race in 23 minutes and 45 seconds.

Eritrean Athlete Teklemariam Medhin also stood 5th in the 10.7 Km. men’s race by finishing 17 minutes and 1 second behind the first winner, Kenyan Joseph Abuia, while Eritrean Athlete Amanuel Mesel ranked 10th.
