Eritrean nationals living abroad and foreign friends from various counties who came to spend their leisure in Eritrea said that they have observed development programs including infrastructure facilities implemented across the country that lay solid foundation for a bright future.

Asmara, 11 January 2011 – Eritrean nationals living abroad and foreign friends from various counties who came to spend their leisure in Eritrea said that they have observed development programs including infrastructure facilities implemented across the country that lay solid foundation for a bright future.

They pointed out that Eritrea is registering rapid growth, especially in the putting in place of infrastructure facilities and upgrading manpower capacity.

Yonas Zemui, who came from Sweden, commended the infrastructure he observed in Bisha and Sawa as well as Gerset agricultural project. He also expressed conviction that any enemy conspiracy weaved against Eritrea would be foiled through the unity and steadfastness of the people.

Similarly, Niamin Mebrahtu, who came from Switzerland, said that witnessing the asphalted road of Asmara-Telataasher and the modern bridges constructed attest to the country’s substantial investment to this end.
Likewise, Ms. Caroline Lindskog from Sweden expressed deep impression with the prevailing peace and stability in the country and that she had enjoyed her vacation.

The nationals from various countries pledged to extend support to families of fallen heroes and for the effective implementation of development programs.
