Public registration office of Central region strives to provide accurate documents to clients

The public registration branch office of the Central region is making relentless efforts to provide clear and accurate documents to clients both inside the country and abroad, stated Mr. Tesfamichael Tesfalidet, head of the branch office.

Asmara, 12 January 2012 – The public registration branch office of the Central region is making relentless efforts to provide clear and accurate documents to clients both inside the country and abroad, stated Mr. Tesfamichael Tesfalidet, head of the branch office.

Pointing out that the activities of the office are negatively affected by the limited public awareness regarding the advantage of having   personal documents at hand, he indicated that a campaign aimed at raising societal consciousness has been carried out.

Mr. Tesfamichael further explained that modern work procedures have been introduced to render efficient service to beneficiaries, and that the office has adequate manpower to perform its task.

The public registration branch office of the Central region renders service to 200 persons a day and has prepared a number of certificates, including that of marriage, death, divorce and family members to clients.
