The efforts made by Keren Metal and Wood Works Company are making due contribution in the nation-building process, stated the head of the company, Mr. Samuel Belai. Keren, 13 January 2011-    The efforts made by Keren Metal and Wood Works Company are making due contribution in the nation-building process, stated the head of the company, Mr. Samuel Belai.

He explained that the company has presently upgraded its equipment potential through deploying modern machineries that are facilitating production of school materials and offices, as well as support for street lights among others.

Furthermore, the steps taken to enhance telephone service in a number of placed and the installation of telephone towers in Qatsetai, Keren and Geleb, along with similar towers in Forto-Keren, Asmelaite-Kerkebet, and Halhale semi-urban center are nearing finalization.

Mr. Samuel further indicated that similar towers are being installed in Taba Aserte, Qereset and Sel’a.Along with the production of a number of materials, the company is providing training to around 250 needy citizens, reports indicated.
