Infrastructure facilities and development endeavors in general underway in Keren sub-zone have registered satisfactory outcome, according to the head of the infrastructure unit in the sub-zone, Ms. M’liete Zerezgi. Keren, 14 January 2012- Infrastructure facilities and development endeavors in general underway in Keren sub-zone have registered satisfactory outcome, according to the head of the infrastructure unit in the sub-zone, Ms. M’liete Zerezgi.
The activities include land allocation, drawing up work plan and renovating Adi-Hashel and Walikun bridges, among others.Ms. M’liete explained that 33 km-long road has been renovated, in addition to land allocation for residential housing to 447 nationals in the Administrative areas of Adi-Hashel, Adi-Shebot. Additional te’sa land has also been allotted to citizens in Bambi, Teteri, Shefshefit and Qasetay Administrative areas.
She further indicated that new projects would be implemented this year at a total expenditure of 106 million Nakfa.
