Central Region Assembly conducts 11th regular meeting

The Central Region Assembly conducted its 11th regular meeting at the Municipality hall on 14 January 2012 under the theme “Forward March with Determination for Highest Development”. Asmara, 15 January 2012 – The Central Region Assembly conducted its 11th regular meeting at the Municipality hall on 14 January 2012 under the theme “Forward March with Determination for Highest Development”.

During the meeting, chairman of the Assembly Mr. Abraham Semere expressed his conviction that the year 2012 will undoubtedly be one in which forward strides for maximum development and investment will be heavily demanded and further reminded members of the Assembly to play a leading role in the challenges ahead.  

Following extensive discussion on public concerns and efforts exhausted to come-up with viable solutions, members of the Assembly agreed to work dedicatedly on issues that include the need to reinforce academic discipline oF students, renovation/construction of asphalt or dirt roads, establishing pedestrian side-walks and bicycle tracks in a bid to prevent accidents, renovating sewage channels and water pipelines, setting up of street light-poles and others.
