Installation of electricity line in Laguwen, Gala-Nefhi sub-zone registered satisfactory outcome, according to inhabitants of the sub-zone. Asmara, 17 January 2012 – Installation of electricity line in Laguwen, Gala-Nefhi sub-zone registered satisfactory outcome, according to inhabitants of the sub-zone.

The inhabitants explained that previously there were no electricity supply in the area, and now with the installation of the new electric lines would play vital role in alleviating their livelihood.The Administrator of Gala-Nefhi sub-zone, Mr. Solomon Haile indicated that there are a number of service-rendering facilities put in place in the area, and said that about 27 villages of the sub-zone get access to potable water supply, and studies are underway to solve the problem of potable water in the rest of the villages in the sub-zone.

As regards educational and health service, there are around 25 schools ranging from Elementary to Secondary school, 5 Health institutions and 29 micro-dams rendering service in the sub-zone.Gala-Nefhi sub-zone has 17 Administrative areas, and around 65 thousand inhabitants.
