Asmara, 18 January 2012 – The provision of vocational training should reinforce inclination, creativity and productivity of the youth, Mr. Sultan Seid, Chairperson of NUEYS, explained.

In a speech he delivered at the graduation ceremony of 280 students trained in different disciplines in Dekemhare, Mr. Sultan underlined that the training provided for the youth should be practical that contributes to improvement in their lives and follow-up should be made for their productivity after graduation.

A representative of the graduates in hair dressing, video camera, Information Technology and others on her part expressed their readiness to practically implement what they have learned.Mr. Hager Garzai, head of NUEYS branch in the Southern region, explained that last year 4000 youths in the region were provided vocational training, and that the training would extensively continue this year.

Documents indicate that the NUEYS branch in the Southern region is providing training at stationary and mobile training centers in 12 sub-zones.
