Infrastructure renovation activities underway in Megoraib semi-urban centre

Infrastructure renovation activities are being carried out in Megoraib semi-urban centre, Dige sub-zone, in line with the master plan already drawn up. Dige, 25 January 2012 –Infrastructure renovation activities are being carried out in Megoraib semi-urban centre, Dige sub-zone, in line with the master plan already drawn up.

Nationals living in Megoraib told Erina that the renovation activities would have vital impact on the development of the semi-urban centre and improving the living standard of the local inhabitants.

Eng. Mehari Andemariam from the infrastructure branch office in Gash-Barka regional Administration said that the task is being undertaken by the regional Administration in collaboration with Segen Construction Company.

The Administrator of Dige, Mr. Saleh Haji, stated that a number of service-rendering establishments have been put in place, and that land would be distributed for the construction of residential buildings and business ventures in collaboration with the pertinent institution.
