Indicating that he lost both legs during the armed struggle for independence at Dekemhare Front, Mr. Abraham said that he took the initiative of cultivating a plot of land in his own village to avoid dependence on others. As a result, the 230 orange trees he planted in 2004 borne commendable outcome this year.

Mr. Abraham explained that he managed to take care of his family over the past 8 years, and that the achievement he scored would set an example to other citizens.

He put under cultivation one hectare and expressed appreciation for the support extended to him by the village administration. He further called on the Agriculture Ministry to extend counseling, information and medical support.
