Inhabitants of Segeneiti sub-zone and nearby villages express satisfaction with provision of electricity service

The inhabitants of Segeneiti sub-zone and 15 nearby villages have expressed satisfaction with the provision of electricity service. Segeneiti, 28 January 2012- The inhabitants of Segeneiti sub-zone and 15 nearby villages have expressed satisfaction with the provision of electricity service.

An owner of metal and woodworks firm in the sub-zone, Mr. Kiflemariam Tesfamichael, said that the 24-hour electricity service has enabled business firms in the sub-zone to expand and make due contribution in efforts to satisfy local market demand.

The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Woldemicheal  Kidane, indicated that 10 additional villages will have electricity service soon, and that efforts are underway that would enable vegetable farmers carry out cultivation through electric motors.

He further explained that the necessary preparations have been finalized for the installation such facility.
