Members of the Eritrean community in Riyadh city and its environs, Saudi Arabia, have held the Sixth Congress under the theme “Congress for Resolute Rebuff and Bondage”.
Asmara, 30 January 2012 – Members of the Eritrean community in Riyadh city and its environs, Saudi Arabia, have held the Sixth Congress under the theme “Congress for Resolute Rebuff and Bondage”.
In a speech he delivered at the Congress, Mr. Mohammed Omar Mahmoud, Eritrean Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, said that the Eritrean people are strengthening their unity and safeguard the nation that was realized through the blood of its martyrs. The Ambassador further called on members of the Community to reinforce their organization.
The participants of the Congress conducted extensive discussion on the legal document at the disposal of the community and work accomplishments. They also elected an executive committee, in addition to adopting recommendations and resolutions.
The Community members condemned the US-instigated illegal Security Council sanctions resolutions against Eritrea and reaffirmed that they would reinforce the national rebuff.
