Dekemhare, 2 February 2012- Land for residential building will be allocated soon for 450 nationals in Dekemhare sub-zone, according to the Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Ephrem Gebrekristos.
He said that the survey for the 204 hectares allocated in Amhur, Tsegaro and Adi-Golgol has been finalized, and that a master plan for the residential building complexes is underway. As regards progress registered in the sub-zone, Mr. Ephrem indicated that the social and infrastructure facilities already put in place are making due contribution in improving the living standard of the inhabitants, and that 85% of the villages in the sub-zone have obtained electricity supply. He further explained that a bus terminal has been constructed to alleviate the prevailing transport problem in the sub-zone.
The factories rendering service in Dekemhare sub-zone, and the infrastructure facilities put in place are playing vital role in attracting investors, reports indicated.There are 18 Administrative areas and 48 villages, as well as 80 thousand inhabitants in the sub-zone.
