Efforts to improve the living standard of war-disabled veterans in Hagaz sub-zone have borne fruitful outcome. Hagaz, 6 February 2012 – Efforts to improve the living standard of war-disabled veterans in Hagaz sub-zone have borne fruitful outcome.

The head of the branch office of the Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) in the sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed Abdalla, explained that the nationals are now members of the Association and leading their lives organized as a group. He also said that land for residential purpose has been allotted to 21 war-disabled nationals.

Mr. Mohammed explained that extending loan to enable the nationals to become self-reliant as well as assisting needy disabled citizens are some of the main activities of the Association.
