Popular campaign underway in Kumholen

Popular campaign is underway in Kumholen and Lahezen, Foro sub-zone, in which the public is taking active participation. Foro, 7 February 2012-  Popular campaign is underway in Kumholen and Lahezen, Foro sub-zone, in which the public is taking active participation.

The Administrator of Kumholen, Mr. Ibrahim Abdu, said that a water reservoir has been constructed, in addition to terracing and water diversion activities. He further explained that the regrouping of villages would benefit the local inhabitants.

The Administrator of Lahezen, Mr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed, equally explained the on-going activities in the locality and commended the participation of the public in the campaign.He also called on pertinent bodies to work for diverting the waters of Aligede River.

Lahezen is located 20 km. south of Massawa town.
